If participants attend both Reset the Clock and Organizational Change (January 11, 2018) total cost will be $400 for both.

Even if you win an employment-related lawsuit, you lose! The cost to defend your department can be significant. Lawsuits negatively impact budgets, police services, officer morale and public confidence. You are in a unique position to help your department avoid these problems. Reset The Clock: A process that prevents attorneys from taking something leaders did wrong or did not do and using it to challenge future employee relations decisions that they make. Past events cannot be used to support future legal claims. In effect, both employer and personal liability clocks are reset.

Hotel, Travel, and Meals:
The participant or their agency is responsible for expenses incurred for travel to and from the training, hotel cost, and meals. Lunch will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hotel information will be included in the confirmation email. Choosing a hotel and making a reservation is the responsibility of each participant.

Schedule for the Week:
Class begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. both days. The program involves working lunches (lunch is provided).

Dress for the Week:
Business casual is the dress for the week. Clothing should be professional, and no caps/hats or shorts are permitted. It is always recommended to bring a light jacket in case the training room is cold.

Cancellation Policy:

If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator no later than seven (7) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted.

If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
