As a joint presentation by the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas and the Correctional Management Institute of Texas, Countering Radicalization is designed to help law enforcement, intelligence, corrections, probation, and parole professionals understand radicalization threats and to share information to counter issues at the local and regional levels. The conference will highlight the origin, development and impact of radicalization both nationally and internationally and strategies and interventions used to combat the practices at different agencies. The conference is designed to create networks of professionals to share information to help stop the growth of terroristic groups in their own communities.
