With law enforcement agencies adopting Body Worn Cameras to provide more transparency and reduce allegations of misconduct against police, the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas is developing a course to examine policies and practices on the use of these new devices at the local level. This course will aid law enforcement officers with the operation and evaluations of different camera systems and discuss policy issues to consider for the agency and the officer. The online course is available 24/7.
