Constables 20 Hour Civil Process

Dear Constable/Deputy Constable,

 

The Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) is now offering the 20 hour mandated Civil Process course (TCLEOSE #3131) as one of our programs. We will offer this course free of charge for all Deputy Constables and in the state of Texas . LEMIT will pay for your hotel and meals while you attend the course. All Deputy Constables must have this course before the current four year training cycle ends on August 31, 2009.

 

We will offer this course twice every two (2) years. The course will be offered in July and August just before the deadline. We are doing this so each Deputy Constable can get the training before each two year training cycle ends. Our classes will have limited seating capability and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

The course will held at the LEMIT Building on the campus of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville , Texas .

 

Please complete a registration form and fax it to the Institute as soon as possible. In submitting your registration form, space permitting, you will be registered for your choice of program and receive a confirmation letter.

 

There will be a cancellation fee of $100.00 charged to your county for no-shows since LEMIT provides hotel accommodations, meals, and training materials. If you cannot make the class you register for, let the project coordinator know as soon as possible so necessary adjustments can be made and another deputy constable can fill that seat.
