The TELEMASP Bulletin (Texas Law Enforcement Management and Administrative Statistics Program) is a monthly publication designed to distribute information about comparative administrative practices of Texas law enforcement agencies thoughout the state of Texas.

The information for each bulletin is collected from Texas police agencies employing 150 or more sworn personnel, plus a sampling of smaller departments. Currently, 51 agencies participate in the program. Administrative practices described in each bulletin are characterized as representative of the state as a whole. Data for the bulletins is gathered from agency surveys, policy manuals, other standard documentation, or interviews with agency personnel. Bulletins are authored by SHSU Faculty and Graduate Students.

The information contained in the bulletins is concurrently integrated in other training programs conducted by LEMIT. TELEMASP Bulletins give LEMIT an opportunity to provide cost effective "informational training" each month to police managers in Texas. TELEMASP Bulletins are coordinated and produced under an agreement with the Police Research Center.

TELEMASP Bulletins are provided free, upon request, to active law enforcement practitioners in Texas. Interested persons outside the state may subscribe to the bulletin for an annual fee of $24.00. To receive copies or subscription information, please contact LEMIT.
