Leadership Command College (LCC) Module I

Topics Covered:

  • Emphasizes leadership and general management principles
  • Includes an intensive applied research component oriented for law enforcement executives

Who Should Attend:

  • Current Texas law enforcement employees with a minimum of five (5) years of full-time, paid employment in an agency
  • Candidates must be assigned to a supervisory position for a minimum of two years
  • Candidates must have passed the Program Overview

Course Hours:

    Participants receive 130 hours of TCOLE credit for Module 1.

Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The program involves working lunches (lunch is provided).

Course Cost:

offered at no charge for all eligible Texas Law Enforcement Officers. Out-of-state law enforcement officers may attend on a cost basis. Please contact the Program Coordinator for the current rate

Offered four times a year at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, the Module covers 15 business days over a three-week period. This Module emphasizes leadership and general management principles. The curriculum also includes an intensive applied research component oriented for law enforcement executives.

Cancellation Policy:

If no notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator prior to the date of the program, and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay a $100 'NO-SHOW' fee.
