Leadership Command College (LCC) Module III

Topics Covered:

  • Focuses on law enforcement administration
  • Concludes with graduation from the program

Who Should Attend:

  • Current Texas law enforcement employees with a minimum of five (5) years of full-time, paid employment in an agency
  • Candidates must be assigned to a supervisory position for a minimum of two years
  • Candidates must have passed Module II

Course Hours:

    Participants receive 130 hours of TCOLE credit for Module III and 80 TCOLE hours for LWP.

Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The program involves working lunches (lunch is provided).

Course Cost:

offered at no charge for all eligible Texas Law Enforcement Officers. Out-of-state law enforcement officers may attend on a cost basis. Please contact the Program Coordinator for the current rate

Offered three times a year, Module III is held at LEMIT headquarters at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. The overall focus of the Module is law enforcement administration. The Module is held for 15 business days during a three-week period and concludes with a graduation ceremony.

Cancellation Policy:

If no notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator prior to the date of the program, and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay a $100 'NO-SHOW' fee.
