The Police Staffing: Resource Allocation, Deployment, and Scheduling course equips law enforcement administrators with the analytical tools and practical strategies needed to make data-driven decisions about patrol staffing and scheduling. This intensive five-day program focuses on optimizing personnel resources through workload analysis, performance-based staffing models, shift relief factor calculations, and efficient deployment planning. Participants engage in hands-on exercises using Microsoft Excel to develop and evaluate customized staffing plans that balance operational efficiency with officer well-being. Designed for law enforcement administrators, patrol commanders, supervisors, and HR or finance personnel, the course emphasizes real-world application and precision in managing agency resources. Attendees are required to bring a laptop with the current version of Microsoft Excel and an external mouse, with basic Excel proficiency strongly recommended.

Cancellation Policy:

If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator no later than fourteen (14) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted.

If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
