Dispatching with Dignity

Dispatching with Dignity is a specialized program designed for 9-1-1 professionals who serve as the first point of care in emergencies. Recognizing that dispatchers are true caregivers to the world, the course focuses on the personal and emotional toll of the profession and provides practical, evidence-based tools for managing its unique challenges. Participants learn strategies to understand, prevent, and transform the effects of stress, trauma, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Through this training, dispatchers gain resilience-building techniques and methods for maintaining composure, professionalism, and well-being—empowering them to navigate the demands of their vital role with dignity and strength.

Participants will receive TCOLE credit.

Course Cost / Fee Policy

Dispatching with Dignity is $395 per person for Texas Dispatch Personnel.

Cancellation / No-Show Policy

If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator no later than fourteen (14) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted.

If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
