Dispatching with Dignity

As 9-1-1 professionals, you are caregivers to the world! You often give and give without concern for yourself. But without careful attention, the challenges of the job can overwhelm even the most psychologically hardy. This class offers powerful proven tools and strategies for understanding and transforming stress and fatigue.

    How Dispatchers Navigate Trauma, Stress, Burnout, Conflict, and Compassion Fatigue with Dignity and Strength.

Who Should Attend / Admission Requirements

    Dispatchers, Call Takers, and Dispatch Supervisors from:
    • Police Departments
    • Sheriff's Offices
    • Fire Departments
    • Colleges and Universities
    • Ambulance Services

Course Hours

Participants receive 16 hours of TCOLE (5103) credit.

Course Cost / Fee Policy

Dispatching with Dignity is$395 per person for Texas Dispatch Personnel.

Cancellation / No-Show Policy

If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Program Coordinator no later than seven (7) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted.

If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant or their agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
